擅长诊治支气管哮喘、慢性咳嗽、慢性阻塞性肺病、肺炎、支气管扩张、肺癌等；对肺部小结节、胸腔积液、间质性肺病鉴别诊断和治疗颇具经验。
主任医师、医学博士、博士生导师。兼任中华医学会呼吸病学分会烟草学组、广东省医学会呼吸病学分会哮喘学组、广东省临床医学学会呼吸专业委员会委员、广东省老年保健协会呼吸专业委员会常务委员。主持国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金、广东省科技计划、广州市科技计划等多项国家级和省部级科研项目。发表多篇高水平论文。 ，主要从事支气管哮喘临床和发病机制研究。 ，擅长诊治支气管哮喘、慢性咳嗽、慢性阻塞性肺病、肺炎、支气管扩张、肺癌等；对肺部小结节、胸腔积液、间质性肺病鉴别诊断和治疗颇具经验。
